How do I install the SlashImage plugin?

Install the SlashImage plugin the way you install any WordPress plugin - search for it in your admin, or upload the plugin zip from its WordPress.org page - then activate it.

From your WordPress admin

  1. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New.
  2. Search for SlashImage.
  3. Click Install Now, then Activate.

From a zip file

Prefer to install from a file? Uploading the zip always works.

  1. Download the plugin zip with the Download button on the SlashImage WordPress.org page.
  2. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  3. Choose the zip, click Install Now, then Activate.

After activating

Once the plugin is active, it prompts you to add your API key so it can start optimizing. See How do I connect my API key to WordPress?.
