How do I connect my API key to WordPress?

Copy your API key from the API keys page in your SlashImage dashboard, paste it into the plugin settings, and confirm the connection pill reads Connected. That is what lets the plugin optimize your images.

Prerequisites

• The plugin is installed and active. See How do I install the SlashImage plugin?.
• You have your master API key. See Where do I find my API key?.

Connect the key

1. In WordPress, go to Media > SlashImage.
2. Paste your key (it starts with sk_live_) into the key field.
3. Click Connect.
4. The connection pill changes to Connected. The plugin is now optimizing for you.

If it won't connect

If the key is rejected, or the pill shows Reconnect needed, the key may be mistyped, regenerated, or restricted by domain controls. See How do I fix an invalid or revoked API key?.
